Arianespace is the world’s leading satellite launch company. Founded in 1980, it deploys a family of three launchers – Ariane, Soyuz and Vega – to meet the needs of commercial and government customers.
The Ariane 2 version in our family of #Ariane launch vehicles performed its first successful flight #OTD in 1987. The payload for this mission was the German TV-SAT 1 television broadcast satellite.
